Mending the Line

Mending the Line is the extraordinary story of Frank Moore, a 90-year old WWII veteran and fly-fishing legend, returning to Normandy to fish the rivers he saw as a soldier. The feature film will release in Spring 2014 and a tour cut will travel with the International Fly Fishing Film Festival (IF4)

Watch the Oregon Field Guide Episode we produced on Frank Moore that was the inspiration for us to bring Mending the Line to life.

We continue to sift through the tremendous archive of footage we shot on our trip to France with the Moore Family and are planning an additional week of filming with Frank on the North Umpqua River in early October. The words, visuals, and experiences we relive each day through the editing process are constant reminders of the incredible story we are so eager to share with you. We continue to target an early 2014 release of the film.  This project couldn’t have happened without all of your help, and if you remember, in conjunction with our Indiegogo fundraiser, we offered up some fun raffle prizes. Frank picked the winners himself, and we filmed a little message from him and Jeanne specially directed at all of the project supporters.
